After all is said and done, you are left with a sense of confusion. You start ruminating about the nature of it all. Was this some kind of twisted art experiment?
Or were we just simply unfortunate enough to witness this spectacle unfold?

Awful Day Ever
It all started with a case of terrible hair. I couldn't figure it to look presentable. As I was scrambling out the door, I fell and dropped my lunch all over the floor. To make matters worse, I was totally late for school.

The rest of the day was even worse. Everything. I stay awake.
By the time I reached my destination, I was completely drained. This day, this horrific day will be forever remembered as a true disaster.

It all started out terribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then things went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
